Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Palliative for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Details:

\n

• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n• 12-hour variable shifts including both days and nights
\n• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
\n• Required to float to any inpatient unit and other Central region locations if needed
\n• 2 years medical/surgical experience required, 1 year inpatient palliative care preferred
\n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS
\n• Epic charting experience required
\n• Medical/surgical skill set required, palliative care/hospice experience helpful
\n• Primary cases include palliative, comfort/hospice, and medical/surgical patients
\n• Work on 10-bed unit with 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
\n• Any color scrubs permitted
\n• Associate degree or certificate required
\n• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential call-back
\n• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays

The facility maintains a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with dedicated staffing including registered nurses and certified nursing assistants.
