Job Title: QC Analyst (Entry Level) Pay Rate: $29.09 per hour Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM 1100 Enterprise Drive, Suite #110 Winchester, KY 40391 Position Summary The QC Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for performing routine and critical analytical testing to support quality control operations. This role requires hands-on laboratory work, generation and analysis of data, documentation, and reporting while adhering to all applicable regulations, SOPs, and safety requirements. The position supports quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, stability samples, and cleaning validation samples. Key Responsibilities • Perform efficient, reliable, and high-quality analytical testing in accordance with USP, NF, EP, JP, FCC, or customer-supplied methods • Conduct testing including dissolution, titration, polarimetry, loss on drying, viscosity, residue on ignition, heavy metals, FTIR, HPLC, and GC • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant laboratory documentation • Interpret analytical results and communicate findings or issues effectively • Organize and prioritize daily laboratory tasks efficiently • Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment • Follow laboratory safety procedures and chemical hygiene practices at all times • Become proficient in standard operating procedures and test methods • Work effectively within a team-based laboratory environment • Maintain a clean and safe work area in collaboration with other lab personnel • Perform peer review of analytical testing and associated documentation • Assist with writing SOPs as needed • Adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment Education and Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related Life Science with no prior work experience OR • Any Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in a Quality Control laboratory Required Skills and Knowledge • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • General knowledge of laboratory equipment and analytical techniques • Basic understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling practices • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to stand for extended periods while performing analytical testing • Ability to perform accurate testing on the first attempt under production demands
