Continuous Improvement Manager | Paw Paw, MI

Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) across manufacturing operations.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Facilitate and lead Kaizen events, workshops, and problem-solving sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to employees at all levels on CI methodologies and tools.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the impact and sustainability of improvement initiatives.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting engagement, ownership, and adherence to CI principles.
• Collaborate with department managers to integrate CI practices into daily operations and strategic planning.

Recommended Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of driving significant operational improvements and cost savings
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical process control, and root cause analysis
• Demonstrated ability to lead change management efforts and cross-functional teams

Bonus Qualifications

• Expertise in Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodologies.
• Experience integrating Continuous Improvement with Industry 4.0 or digital transformation initiatives.
• Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Certification or significant experience in formal change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci).
• Experience implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
